Uncle Sam is now here. This v´character has been used in U.S. Army recruiting posters during the first and second world wars. History tells us, that Uncle Sam was named after meat barrels which were labeled with the letters U.S. The soldiers joked that the letters meant Samule Wilson who was a meat packer and inspector in New Your and delivered rations for soldiers.
The costume includes a blue long jacket with six white buttons and a red-white striped collar. Of course, Uncle Sam got to have also red-white striped pants, a top hat and a front frill. Pants has an elastic band on the waist.
This cool costume is great for Uncle Sam himself but also for all kinds of Yankee celebrations. And why not also for a circus director och clown.
