Hints and tips for wearing masks

It's much more convenient to use rubber masks, if you powder your face carefully.
If possible, put a small cotton pad inside the mask nose, it will collect the sweat and also keeps the nose in the right form, if someone presses it :-)
If needed, you can enlarge the holes of eyes, nose, mouth etc. with sharp scissors, so that the mask is more comfortable.
If the mask is a large model (effect masks), it's more convenient to use it, if you fill it for example with paper so that it fits better and don't move.
When a child is wearing a mask, you can attach (by stapling) an elastic band inside the mask for double-support.
If you have to sew by hand some intakes, make sure that you use a thin needle to avoid any major rips. And if you must increase the neck-opening by cutting a slit, remember to cut a small circle at the end of the slit, so that the slit don't tear more, but to stretch the mask on the circle area.

Party Tip from our customer:
It might be difficult to enjoy refreshments whilst wearing a mask. Get a length of bendy, food-standard plastic tubing and fasten one end inside your mask. String the tube inside your costume and fasten the other end on your hand. This way you can use the tube as a straw and sip your (or others'!) drink unnoticed and with the mask on.
